Dear HCS Families, 

We are happy to announce that HCS will continue to offer after school clubs for the 2026-2027 school year. Please see below for more information: 

Enrichment Clubs

• Clubs will run on a trimester basis. Once registration for clubs opens, families will have several days to make selections for their child(ren). We will use a lottery process to fill spots in clubs in which the number of students interested in participating exceeds the number of seats.

After Care

• In addition to enrichment clubs, HCS will continue to provide after care daily for students until 5:30 pm.

• This after care program and cost is separate from trimester clubs, which will remain an additional fee. Those offerings will be sent out at the beginning of the school year for the first trimester. 

• There will be two options to participate in after care:

  • Option 1 - Extra Innings: Sign up as a club on a trimester basis.

  • Option 2 – Drop In After Care: No prior commitment or pre-registration is necessary. Please print and complete the Drop-In form as needed (daily, weekly, or monthly) and send to school with your child. The form could be found on this website and a hard copy could be obtained from the main office. Or you can forward the payment confirmation email you will receive from PaySchools to Ms. Gigi at ggirgis@hobokencs.net and list the dates/times  your child will attend aftercare.  In the case of an emergency, where you need aftercare on the same day, you must inform Ms. Gigi Girgis (ggirgis@hobokencs.net), 201-963-0222, ext. 204 the morning your child will need to stay in aftercare. All payments must be made on Payschools via credit card or e-check. The business office will no longer be accepting paper checks.  Please include your Payschools receipt number on the bottom of your Drop-in from. $15/hour per child, no sibling discount, must pay $15 for partial hours (e.g. drop in from 3:00-4:15 would be $30/child). 

Movie Day

• On monthly Thursday 1:00 PM dismissal days, students may participate in Movie Day in one of two ways:  

• Option 1 – Drop-In Form
  Students may sign up for Drop-In in advance and include the two hours for Movie Day on their Drop-In form. Payment should always be made through               Optional Fee on PaySchools. Please include your receipt number on the bottom of the drop-in form.  Students who are signed up for Drop-In or Club                   after movie day will remain until their assigned pick-up time.

• Option 2 – Movie Day Only
        Students only participating  in Movie Day from 1:00 PM–3:00 PM should use the “After School MOVIE DAY - ONLY” Optional Fee on PaySchools. After           making the payment, please forward the PaySchools payment confirmation email to Ms. Gigi at ggirgis@hobokenschools.net.                                                                        Reservations cannot be made by email or phone. Students must be registered in advance through the appropriate PaySchools option. 

 - Rate: $15 per hour, the same rate as Drop-In

               - Pick-Up: Students participating in Movie Day Only will be dismissed by the front gate at 3:00 PM.

               - All payments must be made on Payschools via credit card or e-check. The business office will no longer be accepting paper checks.
